Joshua Blumen, Esq.

Joshua Blumen

Attorney Joshua Blumen is the Managing Partner of J. Blumen & Associates, where he counsels clients in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions. With more than two decades of experience, Josh represents individuals, family offices, and businesses throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts, offering strategic legal guidance on real estate investments, and real estate related business structuring, and estate planning.

Licensed to practice law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts since 2004, Josh has built a reputation for practical, solutions-focused counsel and deep knowledge of regional real estate markets. As real estate and title counsel on transactions, he regularly advises clients on complex transactions and portfolio acquisitions, providing a seamless experience from due diligence to closing.

In addition to his legal practice, Josh is a licensed real estate instructor and the founder of Blumen Real Estate School, where he teaches continuing education courses to real estate agents and brokers across Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He is also actively involved in the community and volunteers through Salve Regina University’s Center for Business Outreach, mentoring students and supporting local business initiatives.

He is known for his thoughtful, client-centered approach and commitment to clear communication—ensuring that each client feels informed, supported, and confident throughout every stage of their transaction.

Amanda Collins-Kelly, Esq.

Attorney Amanda Collins-Kelly is a Senior Associate at J. Blumen & Associates, where she represents buyers, sellers, and lenders across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Known for her client-first approach, Amanda guides individuals and institutions through all phases of residential and commercial real estate transactions with clarity, care, and efficiency.

Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts since 2016, Amanda is also a Rhode Island Notary Public, allowing her to support clients in both states. She holds a J.D. from New England Law | Boston and a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Before joining the firm, Amanda gained broad and valuable experience across the real estate industry. She served as a judicial intern to the Chief Justice of the Massachusetts Land Court, worked as an underwriter associate at a national title insurance company, and practiced at law firms of varying sizes—giving her a well-rounded understanding of the legal and operational sides of real estate law.

Amanda is an active member of the Worcester County Bar Association and is involved with several local and regional business organizations, including the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Newport Chamber of Commerce, and LSN: Blackstone Area Pros. She is deeply connected to the communities she serves and brings both professionalism and a personal touch to her legal practice.

Jen Borden

Title Counsel

Attorney Jen Borden is our Title Counsel, overseeing all aspects of title and probate review and is responsible for the issuance of title commitments and title insurance policies. With over 20 years of legal experience, Jen brings a deep knowledge of real estate and probate law, offering practical, detail-oriented guidance to clients and colleagues alike.

Jen is licensed to practice law in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Her legal career has included roles in private practice, public service, and academia. She previously served as a member of the Town of Portsmouth Tax Assessment Board of Review and was a Trustee of the Common Fence Point Improvement Association. Jen has also shared her expertise as an adjunct professor at the Roger Williams University School of Law.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Jen remains active in her community and currently supports local youth athletics as the Equipment and Team Merchandise Manager for the Portsmouth High School Hockey Boosters.
